So you're Keno!

After years of searching, I may finally have an idea of how the ever-elusive Keno looks like:

(Probably, the guy in the center.)

You don't know how significant this discovery is for me. See, Keno is the singer (and composer?) of the wonderful Ohayou, first opening of HxH. The song, as the title suggests, is about waking-up in the morning and facing another day.

Put it simply, the song is wonderful. I could practically hear the leaves rustling and inhale the morning breeze whenever I listen to this. Every note has a touch of freshness, and Keno's voice show hopefulness.

So it was some of my silly quests to find how he looks like. I remember searching google 40 pages deep for any hint, only to find countless of these gambling pages. Then there was the speculation that maybe he is old, or that he's a foreign singer who just had a stint with Japan.

Now, after a simple search at CD Japan, I finally found HIM. The picture is almost useless for its size, but hey, it's a start. The picture is actually too sacred that I didn't change its filename.

What I learned:
1. He's young
2. Keno is the artist, but is also the name of the band
3. They released only 1 full-length album back in 2000, and one mini-album at around 1999. 1999 one possibly back in their indies days, and 2000 was supposedly their "break." However, they didn't become famous. Most likely, they have already disbanded.

It's a shame, really. I don't know about their other songs, but Ohayou is mighty awesome.

They (he) don't deserve this.

I guess I just have to buy their cd in appreciation. That, and because Limewire fails me.
